I usually ignore that arrogant prick Marketing professor from NYU who lives on TV, as opposed to teaching a fucking class. But he did say something interesting for once in his life. He pointed out that the enrollment at elite private universities has barely budged in many decades even though the overall population has ballooned and foreign student population has risen exponentially.
So the cost of trying to join the “elite”, especially if you don’t have certain “characteristics” to get you tremendous financial benefits, has correspondingly exploded.
As with sex work, a few media stories written by someone with an agenda, doesn’t always tell the whole story. College, and a good sex worker, are less affordable in the U.S. than in Canada, but they are attainable.
