CRA still has not uploaded tax slips....

OMG what a bunch of clowns. 1 week from tax filing deadlines and they have not updated peoples accounts. This should be a complete scandal yet not even on the news. Imagine how much extra work this will cause among millions of Canadians and on the CRA itself as every return that used downloaded slips will now have to be audited to check for errors. Probably will cost hundreds of millions in lost productivity.

The reason for that is that they allowed institutions an extension for issuing T3 slips to March 17. Still its been over a month all those slips should be uploaded by now. However, when I accessed a client's account this past Monday the slip still wasn't showing up. There will be a shit load of reassessments happening as a result. The waste won't be in the reassessment (which is mostly AI generated). It will be in the collections dept.

Apparetly the made some changes in the security protocols in uploading the slips. The bigger banks TD and NB my slips are not there while WS and some savings accounts they are.
