This evening I met Zoe, a girl who is new to the business.

This thread is not about Zoe. It is a rant about the half assed "agency" that she and several other girls work for.

Zoe works for a "group" that I`ve had experience with in the past. I call it a group, and not an agency, because the term agency implies a certain amount of profesionalism. These people are totally inept.
There`s at least six or seven girls that work as part of this losely affiliated group. They advertise on Craig`s List, EC, and in the Sun. They use a number of different phone numbers. Numbers ending in 8118, 0854, or 3250 are all the same place. It is unclear who actually runs the agency. Two months ago Sandy told me she ran it. Recently I called and got some guy who claimed that he was in charge. Today, Lisa told me she was in charge. The thing is a total shambles, and it shows.
Anyway, today I called one of the numbers, and Lisa answered the phone. This Lisa: http://ottawa.craigslist.ca/ers/491411956.html. She used to have an ad on EC, but it`s not there at the moment.
Lisa and I arrange for an outcall, agree on donation and services. She asks me if she can bring a new girl along with her, and I say fine. She says she`s leaving, and will be at my place in half an hour.
45 minutes later, she calls me to ask for direction. She says she can`t find my street on her map. It is clear she hasn`t left yet. I give her directions to my place.
Another hour goes by, and I`m getting pissed. I call her back on the same number, and it is busy. I try several times, no answer. So I call one of the other numbers, that I know she also responds to. I get some dude:
Dude: Hello,
Me: Hi, I`m trying to reach Lisa, is she there?
Dude: Ya, she`s here, would you like an appointment?
Me: No, I already have an appointment, and she isn`t here yet. I`m wondering what`s going on.
Dude: Uh, OK, just a minute. [mumbling] Are you still interested in meeting Lisa?
Me: Yes.
Dude: Alright. [Hands the phone to some chick.]
Chick: Hello,
Me: Hi, is that Lisa?
Chick: Yes.
Me: This is [my name], what the hell is going on?
Chick: What do you mean?
Me: We had an appointment.
Chick: OK, what time was the appointment for?
Me: You don`t know? Then obviously you`re not the same girl I talked to.
Chick: Well would you like an appointment.
Me: If you were Lisa, you`d know what I was talking. You`re not Lisa, are you?
Chick: No.
Me: Well why did you say that you were, and why did that dude put you on the phone when I asked for Lisa?
Chick: I er, uh, yah, hum.
Me: Well is Lisa there or not.
Chick: Oh wait, you`re the guy for the outcall.
Me: Ya.
Chick: Oh, well they`re on their way. They left already.
Me: Uh huh. So they should be here soon?
Chick: Yes, definetly.
So about 45 minutes later they actually arive at my place. 10 minutes more, and I would have been in bed, and told them to F-off when they arrived.
Lisa explained that part of the confusion is because there are a bunch of girls, all working for different "managers". The different phone numbers correspond to different managers, but all the same girls are available, whichever number you call. Lisa is the current manager of the 0854 number. The dude is the current manager of the 8118 number. Sandy, aka, Fancy used to be the manager of the 8118 number. Although that explains part of the problem, it certainly doesn`t help explain how it took her two and half hours to drive to my easy to locate house in downtown.
I had an OK experience, but the run around makes me think it`s probably not worth my time dealing with these douche bags again.
