While I have little sympathy with people who go"..... Ewwwww, thats icky.."
perhaps there is a valid need for another forum.. "Kinky". Or, if the BDSM fans dont mind, change the name to "BDSM & Kinky"

We can still have wild debates about which topic belongs where, but since Egyptian (for example) doesnt really fit into BDSM, they can save us tender souls (or boring as some might opine) in the 'regular' sections.

I think that's the way to go. That page could use more traffic.

As you said, I'm not suggesting that one would never post something about a kink in the lounge to get reaction or start a discussion.

But it would be more convenient when a member wants to ask a serious question or post something on stuff like GS or Shemales without getting the thread hijacked or diluted.

I am not a fan of the idea. One person's kinky is another person's normal. I don't want to have to read arguments over where a thread should be because some tightass (foreshadowing pun intended) thinks the subject matter is kinky. Just as an example, where would anal fisting go? One of our board advertisers is a provider and I don't think she would consider it that kinky. I know I don't, but then I really don't consider trans-sexuals that kinky.
I can't see paying an SP to do missionary with the lights off. Maybe we should start a "bland sex" board for the folks who do.

Good points, but I think gathering a 'sense' of majority attitudes helps.

.

I'm not suggesting to give in to the prudes. I also find judgemental hobbysits to be extremely annoying and hypoctitical.

But the fact is that half the time these threads is hijacked and becomes useless because you gave to go through page after page of dumbass posts or acrimony between the usual suspects.

For example, one time a member posted a transexual SP review and if I remeber right, it turned into a 30 page monster owing largely to taunting and name-calling by one neanderthal ex-member.

I think it's best to steer people into a less crowded and more broad minded part of the board for those times when they have serious questions, reviews, or just want to have a conversation about something which they may or may not ever do.

Of course threads about the more extreme and creative activities can still be thrown out in the lounge in order to gauge reaction and promote discussion. It is smy impression that progress is happening.

Lets see how the final vote goes, then I will poll for what members consider perv or not perv.
