miami south beach
IT is ture that south beach miami is a rocking place and bars are open till 4 - 5am serving beer. My advice is get a hotel about 3 -4 blocks away from the party scene. you will want to get some sleep unless you can sleep next to loud parties. As for SP well I had the pleasant surprise when I was there.
1. there is a strip joint there in one of the main streets. not to close to the party scene. doorman wants to charge $20 for cover but you can negotiate to 10 by saying you are alone. Ask question before walking in or paying him. that way you get the discount. remember he wants you to go in so he has sell to you. Anyways inside the SJ there is no alcohol served just juice and as much as you want. This was true back in '98 xmas and what have you. Supposedly lap dance and such. But if you talk to the girls you can go upstaris for 1/2 hour to an hour for around 150 US of course or more.
2. Now if you ever been to hamilton and know hess village then this area is like that. Basically the party scene is between ( i am going to use toronto street names here) say young and bay from front st to to dundas and the small street in between the streets. That's how the lay out is of the party scene. Ask the a male receptionist at the hotel.
There is one club in which it was a whore house. ANd I mean that literally. I didn't know nor did the guys I was with knew that it was full of woman working inside. anyways inside this club at the end of the bar is the girl working once she is taken to the back another takes over. you get the picture.
Warning Caution. THis south beach is very open minded or liberated. So you will or may end up walking into a gay/lesbian bar, You will see cute girls on the street but are not fully woman below the waist and they are hard to tell. Also there is a free ride bus to get you around the party scene.
Parking is not limited otherwise leave the car at the hotel and walk there or take the city bus. Plenty of hotels in this area that don't advertise at all. THere are certain strip full of them.
