Have heard newcomers from India discussing this too and being frustrated that fellow migrants are bringing over bad habits and not integrating.

.... but... yeah. The standards of public conduct in India are far different than ours. Among other things, pissing on the streets, against buildings, walls, fence is a very common practice that major Indian cities and even neighbourhoods are struggling to find innovative solutions to. Just telling the men they are being fucking vile, disgusting pigs for pissing on the road has no effect apparently. It is acknowledged by Indian gov't that it is a deeply ingrained social practice even in areas where toilets are readily available.
