Customizable laptop.

I'm thinking of investing in one of these. Then slowly adding onto it. Boosting it and giving it more power. Is it worth it?

It's no more customizable than any most other standard laptops apart from the engraving. I'm sure you can get a better deal. The memory is marked up to Apple levels.

I doubt it. The main video chip and support chips are integrated into the motherboard. Same with the audio and LAN chips.

Laptops are no more customizable today than they were five years ago. And on certain niche products like the Eee, upgrading the memory voids the warranty.
