Da Ali G Show Marathon

Start your new year with some hilarity. Started this morning at 11, running to 6 p.m. on Showcase.

Well I'll never get those two hours back.
I really tried to give it a chance, I had heard of him before but didn't know he had a show so when I saw this post I tuned in.
He really isn't all that funny and when I got tired of waiting for him to be funny I tuned into the Holmes on Homes marathon, at least I learned something.

Borat was pretty funny but it seems to have been the best of the best of Da Ali G show. The other characters weren't really that funny.

Well, I watched some of it and I am amazed he could act so freakin stupid and not crack up....He acts like such a dork sometimes...lol....and the people he's talking to, they actually start to get totally pissed off at him....

I wonder now with the popularity of his movie if he's still going to be able to do stuff like this......

I used to like Holmes on Homes, but now I think he's getting too full of himself. He had a good formula but is just milking too much out of it.

Yeah, it has made him a millionaire because he couldn't make it as a contractor.....His concept is bang on but he knows squat about pricing and timing....I remember a show where he said 9 grand to totally redo a basement....well, that covers materials but what about labour? Oh yeah, on his show it is free! lol
