How many more poor souls are rotting in prison over some overzealous, narrow minded cop(s) and Crown(s) who lose sight of justice in pursuit of closing and “winning “ cases?

He was a friend of my uncle's and came over to our house for dinner a couple of times years ago.
I remember he brought a ton of food over from Mr. Greek.
He insisted on washing the dishes. Very kind and generous...I couldn't sense a bad bone in his body.

In a documentary about him years ago, Larry Fisher's wife went to the police station soon after the murder and turned her husband in. She told the desk sergeant she thought her husband was the guilty one. One of her knives had gone missing. Larry Fisher had a history of raping women at knife point. When she confronted him and accused him of killing the girl, she said he turned as white as a sheet and had no alibi for the time the murder happened.
The desk sergeant told her to take a hike. "We have the right guy".
