Yes. It is manual. The Microsoft "TZedit" application opens a window to manually adjust the DST period.

I have automatic updates turned on so should be alright I guess.

I have auto updates on but the link I found, installs it anyway and if you have it already it will tell you

and you have to go threw the check list proccess when you install it, like it will ask you what kinda of operating system you have right down to vista, and the different versision and what kind of outlook program your using as well.

I guess it has to update the time stamp in the emails.

I'm running a dual boot system with XP Pro and Linux Fedora.
Both OSs updated the time change with no problems.
XP has auto updates enabled and Linux ....... well it just updated the time change on its own.
