Hi All,

I have come across this DDS Bio Therapy and am wondering if anyone has had such a treatment before? From my understanding, the therapist and yourself are connected together into 1 electrical circuit, which the therapist controls through a foot pedal. She puts her fingers on the areas to receive stimulation and then the patient gets the electrical current. There was some lotion used and some massage involved. Obviously, the strength is kept low to avoid any discomfort. It is similar to acupuncture in terms of where the fingers are placed, but logically more powerful given the many impulses that are sent through your nervous system.

I had one treatment to deal with some sciatica pain and arthritis pain in my hands. Supposedly it requires 5 treatments of one hour (@$120 each) in order to fully treat the issue. It helped the pain in one hand(which received the most time), but the sciatica pain returned after about 5 hours. Actually, I found some exercises that proved a quicker solution to the sciatica. I had a general good feeling after the treatment, which must have had some effect on improving blood circulation.

One has to wonder what other bio-health purposes this technology might be put to....
