I did not want to hijack the other guys thread but I have a similar problem.
I have 2 e-machines which died around the same time. They power up, you can hear the fans spinning and the hard drives powering up.
But no beeps, no bios screen and nothing on the monitor (I tried 2 monitors).
I replaced the PSU in one of them to no avail. I have swapped the memory back and forth and have tried power up with only 1 stick of RAM at a time.
I am toying with installing an external video card instead of the current one on the motherboard but, hey, these are just e-machines and at some point you go past diminishing returns.
Any thoughts?
