Definition of a confirmed appointment

I recently got offended by a provider letting me know that I stood her up.

Can I get a definition of what a confirmed appointment over PM consists of?

Do providers ever make appointments without giving out or taking a phone number as a confirmation? if yes, explain.

Thanks.

I just do not want to stand another sp. I have tried contacting several providers through terb and I could only get in touch with 4 of them on a regular basis with no problems.
I find Victoria, Mariah, Felicia and (when Daisy was around) are the easiest to not only get a hold of, but to confirm an appointment with.

If I pm a provider a date and time, and do not receive a verbal confirmation, does that mean I stood her up????
(Confirmation was in my inbox which did not get checked until after the fact)

I have had the pleasure to meet most of the other gem's in the area, but imho #1 is Victoria and #2 is Mariah and when Daisy comes back she will be on the National team (all star). Oh, and Felicia and 427Jenn are also #1 at doggie (imo).

Other than that I apologize to any one I stood up in the past. I guess it is a 2 way street but I probably have a different point of view on making appointments.

Maybe I should start another thread of over rated Gems in the area. I am sure it would create a lot of interest. But I'll let the veterans start that one up. I enjoy reading a post here and there, but I do not like to start threads. I usually get verbal dhiarreah. lol

thanks

I think it's the way you ask for the time and date.
If you state it and she confirms then I think it stands as a stand up.
If you were inquiring about the time and wondering if there was an opening, then no, it's not your fault at all. And that's how I see it. ;)

In the majority of cases... at least with my experience... telephone numbers are only required if you are seeing this lady for the first time.

The best way around this problem is you should probably ask the SP to simply confirm the appointment by PM. Close your message by stating that if you don't hear from her by a certain time deadline... you'll assume she's not available. PM confirmation on Terb only acknowledges she picked up the message... not that she is actually confirming the information in it. But... if she did pick up your PM and then didn't have the courtesy to respond to you... would you still want to spend your money on that SP?

.

Thanks guys. Got some interesting feed back even in pm land.
Alexa, I used to think the way you did, but I guess everyone has their own version.
I guess I have to adapt to the person I am trying to book.
