You know you're ugly when you have to demand the strip club you work at pays you minimum wage for your time spent at the club:

Now, obviously these girls earned alot of money and are just trying to get some more in one lump sum, but still, the concept of having to demand minimum wage while working as a stripper is hilarious!

It's all about the fact they charge strippers a fee to work each night they solicit dances in the bar.

No doubt in my mind that some nights the clubs are so devoid of customers that the ladies are simply wasting their time.

On the other hand, I'm sure that independent food growers have to pay a fee at the farmers market for the right to sell their product.

It's the conundrum of capitalism.

I believe girls at Backstage get paid minimum wage for their time at the club.

To get paid minimum wage the girls would have to give their real name, address and such to management. Management would then have to submit this information to Revenue Canada. I don't see very many girls wanting to divulge this information.

They do divulge it. The club doesn't necessarily know their take, but absolutely has their name.

Strippers need a license to work in Toronto anyway, and the club has a copy of it.
