I wish I was making this up.
"Smith joined the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia (MPD) in May 2022 as the chief equity officer"

You have no rebuttal just an opinion without facts behind it...
I gave a rebuttal. Here's another. Trump writes executive orders that demonstrates ignorance of the law. Routinely. Or, he's doing it on purpose, which means its done with malevolence. Thus, he's either dumb or evil.

If you think Kash Patel is qualified to be director of the FBI when he didn't know half of what it did...yikes.
Hegseth did not know various military treaties/alliances that the Sec Def must know. He also didn't know how to keep communication secure.
The proposed head of BLS did not know the monthly reports have to be issued by law.
The Sec of Energy did not know DOE handles the nuclear weapons.
The Sec of Education did not know AI from A1.
None of these people were DEI hires.
I'm not defending anyone who doesn't know chain of command. Far from it.
But if the same energy railing against DEI is used to rail against hiring family and loyalists - which we know only results in incompetence and corruption - we'd all be much better for it.
