Can't help you with a name, however, one piece of advice.
Shop around.
It's AMAZING the differences in prices sometimes with Dentists.
I had an implant done and the oral surgeon recommended 3 dentists to me for the crown. I went with the one guy closest to home.
Last year's price was $1,600 for the crown.
Now this year, I had another implant done by the same oral surgeon (good guy). I called the same restoration dentist.
This year's crown price $2,250.00
WTF? There's inflation and then there's stupidity.
Seriously, exactly 1 year apart almost to the day.
I call the oral surgeon back up and ask him for those two other names. He tells me that they are both good guys. Called the second guy.
$1,200 for the crown.
Having been through the procedure once before I can assure you that there is not a lot of work to putting a crown on an implant. Perhaps 4 visits, took some molds, lab does all the work. I doubt I spent more than an hour in the chair in total.
Needless to say, I cancelled the first appointment and went with the second.
That first guy works 8 till 2 pm every day - that's it. His office is 2 stories on Bloor Street West. He has LCD TV's on the ceiling you can watch, and one beside you that displays the xrays and his schedule. All the toys. He doens't talk money with you either. (That would be beneath him). He has an "office manager" for that. The second guy got on the phone himself with me - I like him better already.
