An easy way to go, is to drive to the Windsor bus station and buy a package ticket to the show. The bus takes the tunnel to the US, stops at customs, everybody gets out and walks through customs, and gets back on the bus on the other side of the building. The bus then drops you off at the door, and you walk in with admission ticket already in hand. Return trip every 60 minutes or so during show hours.
It's an all-day affair. Easy Peasy, and the Detroit show is big, and fun. You can crash one or two nights in Windsor - not much to do there, but that's where Terb comes in...
