Don't make me laugh Christopher Steele went to the FBI because he was concerned Donald Trump was being blackmailed.

How much Florida swampland do you have for sale?

Amazing how they think an ex foreign spy and now a paid mercenary is suddenly an American Patriot.

He is an allied anti-Russian supporter and worked with the FBI on joint US/British intelligence operations. You do know that allied intelligence agencies share intelligence ? At least before idiot Trump started blabbing intelligence secrets directly to the Russians. Is the concept foreign to you ?

BTW: The Australians & British intelligence warned about Russian / Trump associations and they aren't US patriots either.

The Australians said a campaign official was telling tall tales (although they acted like it was deadly serious). Pray tell what did the Brits do (unless this is code for Christopher Steele)?

He is a private merc who was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars. By the Democrats. To dug up dirt on trump.

If Trump had hired him to dug up the emails and received them via the Russians would you be singing the same tune?

I don't care who hires him. If he found that there was a security threat involving the Russians trying influence the outcome of a US election (eg: Hillary / Putin as lovers ..... whatever) then I would expect him to report it. Unlike Trump fans - I would be more concerned with threats to national security that who paid what to whom.

Both GOP & Democrats funded Fusion who in turn hired Steeles. (I'm sure in Trump like fairness you would have acknowledged that but ran out of computer screen. :D ) As Trump zealots have no idea how Fusion zealots funded Steeles who was only one part of a complex money laundering report, lets assume that the GOP paid Steeles fee with their portion. Now you can ask - will I accept reviewing Steeles report even though it has been GOP funded ??? Yes, I will !!!

A fact is a fact - if many parts of the report have been proven - I will accept this GOP financed portion - why not ???

The GOP was out BEFORE Steele came on board according to sources. And certainly before the dossier was compiled.

Fusion shopped the idea to the Dems AFTERWARDS.

And so they are the ones who paid for it. That's why Fusion fought tooth and nail to prevent the financials from cooberating the paymasters. Meanwhile the website(and not the Gop directly as proven now for the Dems) who was involved volunteered their involvement.

Why? Because they were NOT involved in the foreign espionage aspect. That's why. It is however why Fusion took the Fifth and Steele went on the run. Because it was exposed.

And they figured if Donny could be charged so could they.

And now. Now I'm betting they are backing off because they know that they won't win.

And I'm betting Mueller at this point is bluffing and hoping to get Trump on a process crime as that may be the only card left.

But putting a white hat on Fusion and Steele. Laughable. They are all available to the highest bidder.

But that isn't what the article states. Rather it is that Christopher Steele contacted the FBI because he was concerned Donald Trump was being blackmailed.

That is a viable threat to US security. That is why US intelligence tried to block Flynn from National Security Adviser but Trump ignored their concerns.

Using your logic so are hacked Clinton Emails in Russian possession.

So is Donny a Patriot Now?

Thats the catch-22. Take down Trump. Take down the Democratic Leadership.

Fact, evidence and truth matter not one wit to these zombies.

British intelligence apparently had intercepts with Russian spies.

The point is that the GOP have been trying to paint the Trump-Russia investigation as the product of the “Hillary-Funded” Steele dossier and thus nothing more than a hoax. Not true...the FBI was already investigating the matter following the report from the Australian ambassador. Steele’s report confirmed info the FBI already had.

I'm a justice supporter. Feel free to go after Trump. But the rules apply to everyone. And that means if you contact Russians for dirt on political opponents it's either legal or illegal. Take your pick.

Or are you only allowed to use foreign agents if you are a Democrat?

Yes they do. At what point haven't I printed facts about Fusion and Steele?

Haven't I said feel free to go after Trump as long as the rules apply to everyone.

And so far all we have with this leak is a dirty politics company head testifying hearsay about what Steele supposedly said to him.

A man who continuously used obstructionism to try to stop investigators from looking into the pedigree of the dossier. And took the Fifth.

Do facts mean nothing to You?

If you have extensive dealings with Russians...and I’m trying to research the nature and extent of your contact with these Russians...then that is going to necessitate talking to Russians. The fact that the DNC paid someone to try to sort out WTF Trump and his associates were up to in Russia sounds entirely reasonable...the FBI is investigating the same question.

Dealing with Russians to obtain emails that they stole from my political opponent is an entirely different matter. The fact that they were stolen makes my dealing obtaining these emails criminal in and of itself. The fact that they were stolen by the Russian government to affect the outcome of the election is even worse.

There is no equivalency between these two scenarios.

If you were the least bit interested in the truth you would stop obfuscating and dial back the “Whataboutisms”.
