Best restrauant/lounge/pub for single guy (40yrs) dining out in alone in TO - must haves: great atmosphere / good food / and a decent supply of single ladies. Preferrably downtown or east side.

For lunch or late-lunch, Queen Mother. Few City-tv types hang out there.

Downtown Sheraton Trader Vic was a real busy singles pickup bar.

Al Friscos after work is another singles hangout. Food bit over-price but decent. I prefer Montana when their chef is having a good day.

Mentioned in other thread, bar at The Keg on York st is another pickup joint.
Great steak & roast beef.

Outbacks and Baton Rouge are friendly for lone-diners. Try Rouge's Onion bloom.

Centro on Yonge, just north of Eglinton (west side of the city) has a nice jazz lounge in it's lower floor.. supposed to be one of the great cougar pickup bars in the city..
