Its not very difficult. They use wix or one of these other services that allow you to develop a website. You can teach yourself to do it.
It is like doing the brakes on your car or changing your oil. Some know how to do it and some do not. Even being able to do it yourself does not guarantee a good job. I know a guy that was called in by an SP 10-12 years back to do a website for her. He always suggest a simple website, but she wanted the works. They compromised and he took it out in trade. He knew that these ladies want the best and very often offer trade, so he jacked the price up. With all the add ons it cost her $4k in trade. That is what people were asking for back then. He has done a few SP websites, he tells me he gets offered barter often.
I believe Web Design requires a certain skill of colours , layout, themes and etc. It's not just throw shapes and colours all over the frontpage.

Design does not necessarily mean she developed it from scratch, can mean anything from picking colours and layout and using wix, to writing all the code for it from scratch (idk why you would do that for an escort website, it’s not gonna see millions of people on it at the same time)

I don't see why they wouldn't. Not everyone is a stereotype. That being said, you don't need a computer science background to make a website. My kid did a very nice one in Grade 11. The only difference is how long it takes to make. Just like changing your brake pads, don't need to be a mechanic but it'll take you 2x to 3x as well.

Man, it's stuff like this that makes me more and more want to visit Jenesis. I'm not a big full figured fan but man I'm a fan of brains and arguments. Like JagJag said above....
You don't need an IT or coding background to make web-sites or do most things with technology anymore. You have sites like SquareSpace where you can drag images and text and it does it all for you without any coding. It will also make the site responsive so it will look good on computers or phones / tablets. Most apps like SquareSpace ave tons of templates that have pre-selected colour palettes. All you have to do is pick one. You can easily put together a professional looking web-page in a few hours depending on how much content you want on it and how fussy you are with the look of it.
There are lots of other tools like Canva, VistaPrint where you can select from templates to make signs, business cards, etc.
Best of all, you can learn just about anything about any topic for free on YouTube or pay a bit of money on sites like SkillShare, Linkedin Learning, etc.
Believe it or not people can learn and be good at multiple skills at a time. Shocking isn't it?
