You do that everytime you give your name and address to an escort for verification purposes, as well as many times in other 'legitimate' circumstances.

The selling point here is that you are supposedly giving it out only once. It's a business that relys on credibility. If anyone's information ever got into wrong hands, and the source was traced back to Secret Keeper, they would be without credibility. It's a good idea, if they're honest and competent.
