Suppose the war lasts 2 years and there are 1 million less Jews and 2 million less Arabs, would it really matter? The fact is that both are a pain in the ass to the rest of the world.
The other possible solution is to send every muslim a suicide bomb outfit complete with explosives, they could then simultaneously extinct themselves and in the process take most of the Israeli population with them.
Voila; the problem to the rest of the world would be solved. So the solution is not to disarm these people but to send them every available gun and rocket launcher that we have.
