The political tectonic plates are shifting. Trump, even though not officially president yet, is shaking up the world, emboldening the right of the political spectrum, and has the lefties on the run. He is single-handedly providing a much-needed counterbalance to global supranational bodies like the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum, and is crushing the liberal left elite’s misplaced views of self-loathing of our cultural and industrial past.

Like a modern-day Marvel plot, Trump and his team of hand-picked superheroes are on a mission to Make America Great Again, and with it free the Western world of its defeatist mindset and managed decline.

The UK needs to get onboard with this. The country is crying out for leaders who will Make Britain Great Again, stand up for and be proud of our heritage, our history and what we have done for the world.

Unfortunately, with Starmer, Lammy and Reeves at the helm, it is more like Make Britain Even Poorer as they destroy our economy and play fast and loose with national security.

In fact, thank goodness Trump is getting involved with the Chagos negotiations. Starmer’s national security adviser, Jonathan Powell, is currently hot-footing it to Washington with his tail between his legs after he foolishly negotiated the deal to hand over the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, and with it compromise the UK’s and the USA’s national security. Clearly Starmer didn’t expect Trump to win the presidential election and is now paying the price for backing the wrong horse.

Next in Trump’s sight is the corporate world, which has been largely hijacked by the woke, politically correct brigade and has lost its way. Already, right-minded campaigners like Robby Starbuck have started to expose this woke agenda. Starbuck’s latest legal victory against Walmart, the world’s biggest retailer, will force them to no longer consider race and gender to boost diversity when granting supplier contracts. Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) is now being replaced with MEI – Merit, Excellence and Intelligence – and it cannot happen soon enough.

Trump is injecting into the US a common sense renaissance, and making people hope that real change is possible, and decline isn’t inevitable. I have to say, my particular favourite example of this fightback, has been Michael Westwood – landlord of the Waggon and Horses pub in the West Midlands – starting the online petition last Saturday calling for a general election, to rid us of this backward-looking socialist Government. It now has around three-million signatories.

Of course Michael doesn’t think an election will be called, but he along with a chunk of the public is expressing concern over the dramatic left turn this country is taking without any democratic mandate, as Starmer hid his socialist intentions from the public at the general election in July.

Let’s hope what is happening in the US comes to the UK sooner rather than later.
