Got in this long text conversation with a civilian I date occasionally. Anyway, the conversation was long, all good though.

Well in the middle of the conversation, I got a reply back from an SP I had been booking with. So I replied, "What's your rate and your location?"

But I sent it to the civilian in error.

Had to do some fast stick handling... came up with that it was work related and I sent it in error to her (the civilian).

I'm pretty sure she bought it.

Well, don't do what I did. Could have been worse.

LOL... I caught myself about to do that with an email once... Messaging with "professionals" should be like carpentry... "Measure twice, cut once"... only "pause twice, then send"...

I'd tell her the message was an enquiry for details of
private lessons from a piano teacher I am seeking

I'd go with tap dance lessons.....that's pretty much what you are doing at that point anyway...

I have my email setup so that it only sends/receives once every 10 minutes, even if I'm just sending an email and click [send]. Many, many times I've had to go grab it out of the outbox and modify it. (This is just a general thing, nothing related to SP's).

The OP was texting. I'm not aware of a send delay feature for texts, but maybe there's an app for that.

I almost did that but with more sordid details.

You really have to watch for stuff like that. Always double check. When it comes to emails, careful not to reply to all.

I think we all multi-task way too much.

I was going in for a session with Nikki Klass in Oshawa once and accidentally pocket dialed the lady I was seeing at the time . Caught it in time - but that sure would have been interesting!

I do believe that if the girl you were texting knows nothing about the sp world that her head wouldn't go directly to that. She would assume it wasn't meant for her but I don't think she would automatically jump to the conclusion that you were texting an SP unless she had more to go on.

The opposite happened to me. An SP text me thinking I was her mother lol

I did accidently send a message intended for an SP, but it went to my daughter's BF. It could have been ugly. Lucky for me, it was a basic "are you available at 4 o'clock" type of thing, but it taught me a lesson. Don't ever send something that is graphic or racy. That would be an entirely different situation. I hope this story saves some poor guy from making that mistake...

#Which brings me to this question, Is there a way to stop a text from going if you realize its the wrong person you're sending it to and it hasn't completely gone through yet?
