Downtown Hotels to avoid

Hello,

I will be visiting Toronto for 5 days in early May and am planning my trip now. Are there any particular downtown hotels to avoid with repsect to how they might treat an SP visiting me in my room? Are there hotels SP's simply won't visit due to past run ins with the management or with Toronto's finest?
For example, I am looking at the Toronto Hilton, The Novotel, Le Meridian, and Strathcona (sp).
Any recommendations from the terbites out there are appreciated.

I thought the Strathcona was a dive, so some ladies may stay away for personal preferences.

Between a rock and a hard place
Just a thought.

If you know your hotel will ID your SP is there anything wrong with asking the SP to ensure she brings adequate ID?

I'm guessing these policies are the result of past troubles and the hotel is just trying to protect their own interests. I am certain that hotel managers and security guards are like anyone else and would prefer to mind their own business when they can.

I personally wouldn't want to stay in a hotel that allows just anyone to come and go unchecked. Before you know it, the bad element of an otherwise good hobby is ruining the fun for everyone.

Why should discreet, well dressed sp's be harassed by rent a cops? It's a free country and people - male or female should be entitled to enter a hotel without being badgered by security and required to produce i.d.

You are wrong.... Hotels Encourage security to scare off potential Hookers.... This is Security's Job to screen who is going in and out the Hotel... They cannot stop you from being in the Lobby (considered in Ontario as a Public Area) but the Minute you set Foot in the Elevator, this is Private Property and they can ask you for your ID and refuse that you enter the Lift.

Excuse me, but I see a difference between hookers and escorts. Discreet, well dressed inconspicuous SP's should be permitted to take the elevator at any hotel. I would take my business elsewhere if she were stopped by a rent a cop.
