I love Eddie Shack stories. Anyone on here have some to share?

1)Getting chased around the ice (literally) by the Plager brothers during a game vs. St. Louis.

2)During the huge brawl in game 1 of the 1970 playoff vs. Boston (10-0 Bruins), Eddie was with Boston and as they were just milling around with heads cooling off, Jim Dorey skates up behind Shack, taps him on the shoulder and when Eddie turns around Dorey bops him right on the nose and the whole thing started up again.

3)Another game where Eddie was with Boston and they were playing Philly at Maple Leaf Gardens (I was there) because the roof of the Spectrum had been blown off. Shack and Larry Zeidel got into a very, very nasty stick incident where they were literally carving each other's faces with their sticks like swordsmen. Evidently it started because the Boston players were continually hurling anti-semitic slurs at Zeidel.

The first time I noticed him, I was just a little kid. The Leafs are at home, Shack gets the puck, and the hometown crowd starts booing. I ask why they're booing their own player, he chuckles and says "that's just Shack".

Ran into him in a pub one time just after Harold retired. Somebody asks him what he thinks of the guy. He says, "he's a better man than I am if he can still get it up for Yolanda".

when Punch was coach of the Leafs shack was a part time player. The fans would start cheering for him "Shack, Shack, Shack". At this point Shack would stand up at the bench and start urging the fans on. Punch was not amused.
