where is the best/cheapest/quickest place to get passport photo in GTA

Think a lot of the Black's photo locations have that capability.
Don't think it is all that much.

I went to Blacks near work and paid $20 with tax included. Because I was pressed for time, I paid it. But I am sure you can pay much less elsewhere. Also, I got a "free" cheap passport case with it - oh joy.

Costco, the colour ones were I think about $8 when i had them last fall.

Major camera stores will carve you a new one on price.

Since the passport office is really busy right now with the new US restrictions.

Go to TWO places and have a photo done. I know it's a pain in the ass but I had a Blacks photo for passport purposes refused by Immagration and then had to go and get another one done delaying the processs. The advice at the time was get TWO done from seperate places that way one will be acceptable. Depending on the immigration employee they can get quite picky.

I wemt to a local mall and to a guy who had a sign for passport photos. Almost any "professional" photography place can help you out.

Blacks is about $20 bucks. Comes with 2 pics and a passport carry case.

I say save the $9 bucks and go to CAA.

There is one under the Sheraton on Queen Street. Pix are accepted by passport office.

Guess I lucked out then. I went to Blacks but the guy had so much trouble getting the photo that his boss gave them to me for free - two colour and two B&W along with the passport holder.

He gave me the two types of pics because he says that, depending on which office you go to to get your passport they prefer one or the other.

Few Asian studios do it for $4 - $5 in < 30 mins. Quality YMMV.

I went to Costco this afternoon and there was a sign Passport picture for $5.99

Passport pics can be tricky under the new rules 1) no glasses 2) no flash should show on cheeks, 3) must be a full on face shot showing both sides of face clearly.

And yes my pics got rejected on all 3 counts 3 times!

I had mine taken at Costco... they were rejected TWICE because they were "too dark"

I guess sometimes, you get what you pay for.. and I could not get a refund from them
