What a deadbeat. Thinks he doesn't need to pay what he owes. Yet makes bilions.

I used to be somewhat on Elon’s side of things. He makes his money and does his thing and poor people who don’t like it can fuck off. But now…….

He is in the dictionary showing his face as the definition of deadbeat. Like WT actual F?

6 companies?!?!?

And you as a company would think - Twitter - this is a good client to have. I would die if Twitter was a client of my company. I mean now it would be because I would be broke due to non-payment and therefore starving but before it would have been out of excitement. LOL.

"With every war going all the way back to Vietnam, the press has been heavily integrated with the troops and there's thousands of hours of live video footage."
I think this is true only for American troops. There are no official American troops engaged in combat in Ukraine.

There was about an extra 200 layoffs last week-end. I have a long time friend down in Silicon Valley. No one but desperate staff remains at Twitter. It's estimate that Twitter would need to multiply by 100 the number of monthly paying subscriber just to compensate their add revenue lost.
That was 10% of their remaining workers.

Non-payment is typically just a sign a company is going down.
Nonpayment disputes like these are not common after a leveraged buyout, according to Boston College finance professor Edith Hotchkiss. She said in an email to CNBC that they are “more typical of companies that are within a very short window of filing for bankruptcy.”

True. Yet regarding the Twitter rent's building Elon knows perfectly well that he is on the good side of the equation.

Millions and millions of business rent square feet are currently not being renewed. Business rent are usually 5 or 10 year deal. We are only in the 3 year of covid and work from home effect.

Elon knows that by not paying he puts pressure on the owners to negotiate because they won't have any other renter anyway.

Other than that I would say Elon should remove himself as soon as fuck from being CEO of Twitter because his own fragile prick ego will ruin it.

It's not because you are successful and made billions that you are someone people like. Quite the opposite most often then not.

I'm not convinced stiffing your landlord is a solid negotiating technique.

yes it is. I own a small commercial building in montreal. Completely empty since 2020. Offers to buy are low. Offers to rent are non existent. From 2000 to 2020 it had always been fully rented.

Commercial renting is going down the drain.
