Stupid idiot... this guy never changes. Does he get his vehicle back?
Ray Emery had his Hummer seized by the OPP and his license suspended for seven days after he was charged under the stunt driving provision of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act on Sunday.
Emery was caught going more than 50 km/hr over the speed limit on Highway 416 just south of Ottawa.
The former Sens netminder is back in Ottawa after his Russian club team was eliminated from the second round of the KHL playoffs.
It's not the first time Emery has had a run-in with Ottawa police. In February of 2008, the Cayuga, Ontario native was pulled over after reportedly cutting off a police cruiser in his white Hummer. Emery had later claimed he was unfairly targeted by the police.
Previous to that, Emery was also involved in two other incidents on the road. In 2007, he got into a verbal altercation with another motorist after they cut each other off and, on a separate occasion, Emery was charged for causing a minor car crash when he was on his way to catch a team flight.
