end of "friends"

Hey all, I know this might sound kind of silly on a site like this but I have been an avid watcher of this series since it's beginning.

Over the years it has had some good episodes and some not so good and the time to end it was now. Some of the recent episodes were pushing it already and to continue on would just tarnish the image it so vastly earned.

Actually on a personal note (if anyone here watched the show) I had a relationship for 5 yrs that paralelled ross and rachel's. It was nice to see those two end up together even if mine didn't work out that way.

Hey, I'm with Back Burner on how awful Friends was (actually, IS, because it'll be in reruns for the rest of my life). First of all, I had an appointment which an SP did not keep.

Then I wound up at a friend's place — a regular nooty call, if you will, and I was shit outta luck because she was sitting there watching Survivor (yuck!), followed by Friends (triple yuck!), and was planning to make an evening of it by watching yet another show I hate, ER (hell, my wife watches two out of those three)...

Called Longfirmlegges (who is getting VERY bad answering e-mails and PMs - lol) and got the machine, too late for Roommates, no answer at O Serena....what a crappy night!

Question: Do I need a new friend? Or should I remember never to go visit her on a Thursday? Hey, I hope that tomorrow night at Healey's will be more fun than driving around Toronto in the rain. Talk about can't get no satisfaction!

Thank God sweet guy!.....Phew! Glad to see Kasey and friends are still around. you sure know how to stop a guy's heart with that heading!! As for the show.....never watched it anyway!

I only know "friends" at Kasey are more fun to watch and be with than those "friends" at the show.

Usually the chicks love the "Friends" show. Not so sure whether any "friends" at Kasey are the fans of "Friends".

I wasn't a regular watcher, as I found most of the episodes lame, and can't stand Matthew Perry (world's worst actor, and NOT a funny guy!)...but the girls were hot and there were a few decent laffs.

But...
That 'last' show last night was absolutely LAME!

How long could they drag out the sappy, teary goodbyes and dramatic pauses & looks.

..and that last scene?

"Yeah, we have some time.
Let's go for some coffee.
Ok.....where?"
