I haven't looked into it a great deal and don't trust religion in general but the public statements of Kanter's cleric mentor seem to be along the live and let live view of other religions. I have no trust in the word of Erdogan and based on some of the transparent politically motivated charges his people have laid, hearing Turkey make charges about Gulen are not that convincing.
