The Yonge Street branch is great and I go to TCAF every year to check out the new offereings and pick up a bunch of reading material.
I used to take out a dozen books a week back in highschool... Haven't been there in two years or so to borrow books. I get more than enough books online for free or buy my own books. Occasionaly, the library does have a rare book that I can't find anywhere else, so I go borrow or browse through the pages.
Yes, often. I don't need to buy all the books i read. Free, and they have a good service. Some great community services too.
I use it to study actually. I'm always taking one course or another and I find it hard to study at home and work, well, that's work.

I agree with James about the value of getting out of the house and away from work to study and I used to go to the library to do that, but these days I prefer Timmies.
Funny I have a whole office area set up at home but my brain doesn't go into study mode unless I go out someplace. I guess a habit from university days.

My Italian friend who doesn't work goes to his local library (and mall) almost everyday to use the free computers because he is too cheap to buy his own computer and Internet.
