i got a phone call from a person who left a message because i was busy(this is in a spa)and he said on the machine that we ruined his mothers life because she saw his fathers car here and then hired a private investigator to come take a session.Now the max we do is nude and he said he has it on tape,he could be bluffing but what if its real?Then he said i hope you have a good fucking lawyer and also i'm gonna make sure that all these mps are on tv like america's most wanted i maybe young but not stupid,these where his exact words!If it is true how does the law go on this,and i dont want to involves LE.If you are caught by a private inv.can that be used in court?Its not my fault this dad came here,basicly can i get in trouble for this?

The P.I had a session ?..... so that proves the "son" didn't just park his car there , the guy should move out of mom's basement ....

Not knowing your location But, just because a car was parked in front of or even near your place does not mean that the owner was necessarily inside, IMHO.

The MPA didn't ruin the mother's life. It sounds as though it was already ruined! This is a crock o' shit.

This reminds me of an episode of "To Serve and Protect" (the Cdn version of Cops). Cop pulls over a older man for trying to solictate services from a prositute. Cops begans to write up him a ticket and a summons to appear in court. The guy (obviously upset) starts to say to the cop, "I've been married for 40 years, I have kids, blah, blah, blah. You (to the cop) are going to ruin my marriage." Cop responds, "no, I'm not ruining your marriage, you are"

My point is I wouldn't worry to bad about his dad, no one held a gun to his dad and said ruin you marriage. There is a point where we have to take personal responsbility for our actions and not blame others. People who go to spas should be either single or have open'minded S.O.

Dear Athena,

I'm no lawyer, but I'd say that if the spa is/was going to be a target of law enforcement, then there is nothing additional that this hurt little boy can do. Either LE wants to shut the place down or they don't. Getting a phone call from momma's-boy, his private investigator, or his lawyer is meaningless unless his daddy got a different category of service (e.g. full service) compared to everyone who just gets a nude massage.

The guy might just be upset at what is happening to his parents' relationship. It sounds like he totally lost it in his phone message - keep it for evidence. Or he's a nut (a little medical terminology there) who is fabricating the whole story to scare you. Or he's a disgruntled customer who, again, is trying to scare you. Either way, I'd say you have little to fear from LE beyond that already related to your current business.

I would demand a copy of the tape and the PI's license number. Persue it with the local DA

thank you so much you guys,i really do feel better now,honestly i do,the apparent"Tape"was a nude mpa,according to him but we wil see.
I hate this type of situation,but what can you do.
Id give you guys a big kiss but im a bit far from you in Ottawa.
You guys/girls have alot of intelligence/experience so thats why i posted here
