I'm sure the deniers will either:
a) blame Al Gore
b) say warming can't be happening because of IR absorption
c) claim all scientists and the UN are globalists out to take your money through carbon taxes
d) post El Risitas gifs all day

But today's news:

In landmark opinion, the World Court says climate change is an 'existential threat'
Ruling could help determine countries' obligations under climate law and consequences for harming climate

Frank, if the globalists want to win the plebs over, they can start by permanently grounding all private jets and private yachts. Forever. As a show of good faith. And to prove they're really serious, shut down all private jet terminals. Again, forever.

China is nearly half the worlds emissions, nothing Canada does will have any meaningful impact.

Yes, but I think we should just sacrifice the billionaires first.

Yes, in your utopian socialist fantasy world. Until that happens, how about something more realistic?

You want Canada to do more than China because our per-capita emissions are higher than theirs. By the same logic, the billionaires must do more than the common folk, because their per-capita emissions are the highest.

Billionaires first by a long shot.

Currently humans produce less than 5% of all CO2 emissions. The other 95% comes from natural sources - oceans, vegetation decay and volcanic eruptions.

People get tired of doom porn. People are aware but don't care/helpless.

The billionaires can do something about it but they humans too, if I were billionaire I wouldn't give a shit. I'm here for less than 100yrs. Hopefully reincarnation is not real.

But even if it is think about it this way:

If I am born in the future to a post apocalyptic world, I should be able to adapt and survive in the environment. Or if it's suffering, it'll be relative, everyone would be suffering so it'd be the norm. So im not too worried.

Of course people are tired. Scientists have been giving this warning for almost 50 years and nothing was done about it.
But its all coming home already and will only get worse now.

There is a bigger existential threat than climate
change. Nonetheless this threat will come with good
news to climate sheeple. It won't be long before the
world will no longer be able to grow carbon emission.
Greenhouse gas generated from burning fossil fuel
will dwindle to near the zero level at some point in
the 22nd century, Life on earth will be great after
global population is trimmed by 80---90 %.

The oil$gas industry knows what they have done.
Tuvalu may be the first nation to sue the oil$gas industry for the climate change they caused, making use of the new ICJ ruling.
