Today I had an absolutely marvellous experience. I attended a Microsoft Tech-Net presentation in a downtown Toronto cinema complex. Unfortunately, we women were totally outnumbered by the men. I say unfortunately because I truly believe that women should be more involved in today's technology.
Anyway, be that as it may, during the break there was a stampede for the washrooms and the line-up was horrendous. Oh the bliss I felt when I heard that the line-up was for the men's washroom only! You cannot imagine my pleasure as I walked up the stairs past all the men patiently waiting and shuffling, oh so slowly forward and you should have seen the smirk on my face when I descended past those self same men, still waiting, but perhaps no longer so patiently!
Sometimes it pays to be a woman in a man's world!
