My firefox browser appears to have been hijacked by:

veronline.

veronline online takes over any site that I attempt to visit on firefox.

I am trying microsoft 'edge' and the veroline hijacking doesn't happen on the 'edge' browser.

Has anyone else experienced this problem on firefox? If so, have you been able to 'knockout' the 'veronline' site? Does anyone know what can be done to solve this problem?

I have sites on firefox where I have forgotten logins and passwords, some sites a necessity for me to access.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Go into browser settings and delete all cookies, cache, add-ons, history etc. Wipe it all clean. That should solve your problem.
The cookies will delete the logins he forgot.

So…. I am going to assume you closed all tabs that have a veronline page active. Then you closed Firefox…. Then you rebooted your pc

If logins and passwords are saved, then they can be accessed in settings.

Regardless if they're saved or not, most websites have a forgotten password/login option, just have to remember which email was used to register. If one cannot remember login, password or email, then one has bigger problems to worry about.
Don't use Firefox.
Use AVG Secure Browser.

This is what I don't understand about people. There is no way in Budha realm everyone can remember their login/password for every web site.

I use a regular notepad program and created a text file that has all the website I usually use or go to.
For example, rental car, airlines, terb, emails ( I have 6 emails) social media.
Yes I know you can tell the Laptop or Cell to remember passwords but when you loose the CELL what then. Or you try to login from a PC and cell is recharging. What then.

So in case I pass over - die - my parents can ask my buddy to close everything for me or parents. He might keep a few but the rest is useless.

What I don't like is the browser ALWAYS tries to remember Banking info even though I tell it not to.
