Imagine Toronto with a few hundred thousand asian women in flying cars.

I have been following Terrafugia for the last few years now. The video and the second image you posted are 2 different models. They are working on Vertical take off and Landing. They have deposits now from about 100 customers and they will cost $250,000 to $300,000. I don't see the point really. You still have to drive to an airport for takeoff with the first model. It is very interesting stuff though.

i can't see a computer landing a plane, even for an airliner

maybe on a clear day with 0 wind ... too many variables, weather conditions, etc... you need a trained pilot

auto-land for the average joe, in any condition, don't see that happening for a long while

Pacific mall would be designated a no fly zone.

Wish people learned how to drive on the road first...that's all I need now, shit falling down from the sky just because some bimbo decided to put on a make up in the air.
