Well this is going to be the Flyers year. I dont expect them to win everygame but will be dissapointed if they lose more than 15,Flyrers-Rangers wednesday night on OLN.

Flyers will have a problem. Defence too big, too old and too slow for the new NHL. If they keep calling the infractions all year like they have in the pre-season you will need a moble defense. My 2centsPeace4u said:

They look good on paper but I still question there goaltending. If Esche comes around and turns out to be a tier one goalie...watch out ! Too much talent on this team and there very well coached.

actually, i thought most terbites said before the season started that flyers were going to be very, very weak this year.

I am watching the game right now. Boy I thought Toronto was slow. Flyers move with the speed of an iceberg. I say Ottawa, Montreal then Philly in the division in that order 1; 2; 3.
well, atleast when toronto plays calgary on january 6... Phaneuf has wasted no time in knocking around some of the league's biggest players... did anyone catch his big open ice hits on Patrice Brisbois and Pierre Turgeon? and then his big time crunch on Marek Svatos when he caught Marek cutting in from the boards with his head down near the flames blueline... what a bone cruncher...Peace4u said:
