Free iPhone Rogers Hotspot connection @ Second Cup

When I first got the iphone (okay I'm a weak willed techno junkie) I found that i could connect to the Rogers Hotspots WiFi for free at Second Cup - Now it seems to still connect but i can never surf or use any of the apps that require wifi. Anyone having better luck than I?

Rogers Hotspot's a paid service. Might have been that the Iphone, with the Opera browser, could circumvent the blocks installed initially, but they patched it up.

It was similar a few months ago, that people with the 1st gen Iphones could surf limitlessly on Rogers' unlimited WAP cellphone plan (10$), instead of paying for a regular data plan that 100$, "unlimited".
