The worst thing about racism and bigotry is the level of hate involved. It is interesting, sad and ironic to observe the underlying level of hatred towards this woman disguised as anti-racism. People trying to rationalize their hate as good. What I observed when I read the story was someone trying to find her sense of belonging within a peer group, any peer group, but she continually got discarded as "trash" along the way. It is no wonder she let her hatred get the better of her. I guess it is true that what we hate in others is a reflection of what we hate in ourselves.

But the reaction from racists and anti-racists was the same. Wendy was a piece of trash ...

I agree, fully (how could I do less, since I share a similar career?), but you do have to accept that Bianca/Wendy also made her own bed. She consistently alienated even her most hard core of fans, ripped off clients, lied and generally made herself a hotbed of controversy and stupidity. She burned all of her own bridges with her repeated idiocy.

She chose a path of hatred and bigotry not because she was suffering from some sort of 'I'm an escort woe is me' inferiority complex, but rather because she's a small minded little idiot with a hatred for anyone of another race.

I can't excuse this behaviour on the grounds that she's been 'persecuted' due to her choice to work in the adult industry. If anything, a career such as ours should make one more tolerant of others, not less.
