Fuck...I'm missing out of some good porn!!

Whenever I try to play to video associated with most porn websites, all i get is a green screen.

I also get the same thing when I try to play video on the MSN.com site.

I don't get it on EVERY site...but I do get it on most...and sometimes on sites that you would think would be pretty tight insofar as configurations, etc. (MSN being one example...CNBC another), so I am sure it is my PC.

I will say this seemed (as I remember) this first started happening when I went to MP11. However, today I went back to MP10 and it did not help.

I've have been to the Microsoft website and dowload everything called a "codec" that they have...no luck.

I realize this might just be my maker trying to tell me to lay to hell off the porn and return to the life I used to know, but I am very hard headed and not prepared to get the message...at least not quite yet.

Ideas?? There is this one site...I just gotta see how she takes all that in her ass....

A few things to try:

Download the divx codec package available at:

http://www.divx.com/

Download the latest versions of Java and Flash, search google for them.

Change your internet privacy settings on your web browser (tools - internet options - privacy for Internet Explorer) if they are high make them lower and vice versa.

OR

Use a real web browser like Firefox.

you have a conflict between some codecs. What is the file format the sites are playing the video in ? I bet you have intervideo windvd installed.

The windvd codec for avi conflicts with other avi codecs.

find out what file forma avi, mpeg, wmv. etc and what codec plays the video. I'm sure there is more than one coedec for that paarticular file format.

codecfixer can remove the offending codec for you, google for that.

...(save for installing Firefox) with NO LUCK.

This is nuts...everybody in the universe except ME can surf porn (movies clips) online.

There is a message here....I know there is...but I am still resisting learning it....

Ok.....the Firefox worked...

...but I really didn't want that as my default browser. So now I have two browsers. Sigh...which I guess isn't the end of the world, but I am not a super computer literate type of guy (I mean, more so than my mom...but when *I* have computer questions I ask other people). So I didn't want the complication of having TWO browsers.

What is the downside of using Firefox as my default browser? Microsoft bashing aside...really...why are webpages "designed for IE X.X" if Firefox is so much better?

I am viewing this in Firefox now...and I noticed that all the pictures on the home page loaded significantly slower. On the other hand...does this thing have a built in spell checker (it is underlining my spelling mistakes in with a red line)?? Kewl....
