Quizzes like this remind me of a recently passed pal who would ace these sorts of questions when we were playing online trivia while Da Bug was in town before (almost) everyone got their shots.

He had been a TV broadcast technician at CBC for quite a few years before he signed off at master control.
And had been sent to like 12 different Olympic games.
So he knew flags and former countries and Olympic trivia no problem.
