Is this some kind of joke? Both characters are hilarious.

George was my main reason for watching the show. He was gold. Without him you don't have a show.
Never watched the other one.
Another George fan. Jerry was glib and Kramer was an idiot. But George was a loser trainwreck in slow motion every show and milked every moment perfectly. Each laugh was impeccably set up. Each utter humiliation was classic. Like the time he was led to believe that he had a better job and told his boss to fuck off - only to realize a few minutes later that his buddies were joking about the new job. And then he turned up the next morning to a work meeting as if nothing was wrong, while his erstwhile co employees just stared at him.

Yep that was the one. Knocked it out of the park.

The sea was angry that day my friends...

Can you imagine putting up with Sheldon Cooper and his ways everyday?
Are you forgetting the time Sheldon saved Leonard, who was being a smug idiot, from turning himself into tomato paste in the then working elevator? That's a hell of a set up for a show.

What mandrill described about George is why I liked him. He was a craven loser with not much of a backbone, but he had balls of steel.

George's finest hour!

Since Curb came out, you can see how much of a model Larry David was for the George role. They always get into trouble because of their mouth. No filter.

Yeah both George & Sheldon are great....

I would gladly throw Bernadette (or even Howard) under the bus as worst annoying neurotic characters first

But even they pale in comparison for some of the stupidest characters (eg Danny Tanner as an example I despised that show)

Howard, who was played by Simon Helberg, who IMHO was the most talented actor in that series. He appeared in a number of movies, was a musician and an impersonationist.

Sheldon is a stud we should all strive to be.

I always thought that the BBT made a mistake by not hooking up Penny with Sheldon. The contrast itself would have been good for a couple of seasons alone.

Simon Helberg??? Really? I'm shocked

As near as I can see he really has no career beyond BBT
Has alot of voice work for stuff like Kung Fu Panda or Tom and Jerry but the rest is a very forgettable list
Most of it tv series really.... even the B list movies he plays extras.... which movie are you thinking was his break out performance?

Oh yes he does Mr. TJ, he got to work with Meryl Streep in Florence Foster Jenkins and she loved him. If you work with someone of that level of talent, he/she will burn you if you don't have the stuff. That's what happened to Amber Heard in That Danish Girl, the only reason she got a role in the Aquaman franchise, she was still married to Johnny Depp at the time.
