girls who smoke

I recently had an SP asking me if she can smoke in my house. I responded that if I was OK with women smoking in my place I would have had a girlfriend by now. The sad thing is that this is true.
Anyone else finds that if one doesn't smoke, it limits the choice of women severely? Any ideas how to deal with it?

The owner of the house across the street rents his house (he doesn't live there) to a bunch of college students. They use the porch as a smoking pad Winter and Summer. At least they don't smoke inside the house.

It's a double edged sword.I hate smoking and have only dated one smoker in my life for a limited time.Having said that, I have not met a smoker yet who did not swallow(taste buds are long dead anyway) and they tend to have much more of an "oral fixation" about them then non smokers.

Well said, The SP can look forward to looking 70 when shen is 50. It is a disgusting habit that I quit 15 yrs ago. If I accidently get around smokers, I go home, throw my clothes in the washer and shower.

Smoking is a very bad habit. Not one I have ever had. However boredom of sitting around waiting with others smoking sometimes pushes people in that direction.
A habit can be broken in 3 weeks.
I ask my friends to take it on the balcony and even then that bugs me...as far as the gentlemen I see...I ask them if they don't mind not smoking during the encounter and if they have been there is mouthwash right by the sink.

I can't believe how much they cost these days...

I completely agree with you. When it comes to myself finding a boyfriend, my choice of men is very limited due to the whole smoking issue. Fuck if they don't smoke one thing, they are smoking another. Geeezeeee what does it take to find a man who doesn't smoke????

However...when I look at someone who is smoking I think..."they are killing themselves and they don't care". If you get involved with them and they don't quit...to me it means that you aren't worth living for and they continue to kill themselves.

Its a tough gig quitting though...like booze too...so readily available...

One of the reasons I quit was my nieces & nephews. Didn't want them to be around such a disgusting habit. I hate when I see parents smoking around children. Even worse is in the car smoking with a kid. That should be regarded as child abuse.

Smoking is a very bad habit.

A bad habit is forgetting to lower the seat for your SO after peeing or leaving the milk outside the fridge when you use it. Smoking is an addiction with same mental weakness as you find with heroin or crack addicts. Similar to other drug addicts, they are defensive about their addiction and tend to hang around with other addicts rather than face the embarrassment and possible ridicule of their weakness from non-addicts.

Unfortunately unlike your heron or crack addict, engaging in smoking poisons the air that nearby people must breath. Faced with curtailing their habit or poisoning their own family, many of these pathetic addicts chose the habit.


It should be no surprise that people with a nicotine addiction tend to be more prevalent in the uneducated and lower social classes. I have found beautiful women who did not smoke. I suggest that you am a little higher in the class of girl you want to date.
