I have only a couple of minor complaints, the major one being it's more of a hassle trashing messages. If it's slow in loading when you first log on, try hitting "refresh."

Works fine for me and I'm on a dialup line. It takes a few seconds to load but after that its quite fast.
It is easier to save than delete mail. It seems Google is promoting a different way of managing mail. 2 Gbytes of storage would take a long time to fill up. I guess after that the oldest emails would just rolloff unless it was flagged. That way your email would never be full unless you decided to keep 2 Gbytes of emails which seems unlikely for most people.
