GoogleEarth is based on satellite photos taken on an occasional basis, at resolutions permitted by law (based on region, time, etc). While those In The Know can predict when a useful satellite might pass overhead over any particular location, their imaging is generally pre-sold ("already purposed") to specific customers, directions (not necessarily straight down), etc.

The short answer to your question is: NO. At least, not at this time.

A paying one yes.
Free... no!

As said by anynym, the photos are taken a long time ago (actually you can see when by spotting non contructed areas/infrastructures).
These photos have been bought or realeased to the public; and buying new ones is extremely expensive.
Moreover the resolution you have is far below what you can buy. In fact, the resolution dropped since the first patch of google earth; I don't recall who complained but it worked...

I think it's the Earth imagery version of ymmv. If you pay for their PSE you get much more up to date data. And you get all sorts of other services too.

But for what they charge I doubt we'd want to TOFTT.
