Anybody here having trouble logging into G mail? Whenever I try to open my G mail, they keep forcing me to switch my Yahoo mail account to Gmail by creating a new G mail account and asking me my info and phone number instead of taking me to my old G mail account. I tried by opening a new account just to get that outa my way, but it just took me to that new account only and couldn't get access to my old G mail account. Any help will be much appreciated. I hate being bullied.

Logging into Gmail is quite straightforward. The problems you describe sound like your computer is infected with a virus / spyware or maybe you forgot your password.
No Fred. I didn't forget my PW. As soon as I open Google and hit Gmail option on top bar, it took me straight to new G mail sign up account page. Just checked out and everything is alright if I use from my phone without going thru Google website. I only have problem trying to open thru my lap top.It's not an issue with Gmail, it's possible your Gmail password was cracked and someone is sending lots of spam from your account unbeknown to you
works 100% fine for me. once in a while, gmail does try to get my phone number but if you look closely you'll see a "skip" option. maybe you have password saving turned on in your browser. try running ccleaner and see if your logon works as you'd expect.
My G mail is bk to normal by itself. Just found out it was a spam from Kansas telemarketting company fishing for your phone number thru checking where the text was from thru Google. I heard its happening on face book accounts as well fishing for your phone number saying " you are still using your old password, pls create a new PW and then saying phone number is a requirement for security reason and such.Gmail is working fine for me.
