Google Maps Satellite Function

Hey,

Anyone know how to copy a map or a portion of a map from the satellite image funciton in Google Maps? I want to be able to post it into either an MS Word doccument or imaging software.

I've done it before, but for some reason I'm not able to now...I don't know if it's the browser I'm using, or if they've encrypted it....

Any help would be much appreciated,

got the answer from the google user group forum, hosted by google (!) of all places...

Snag-It is the best tool to screen cap. Or else just to ALT + PRINT SCREEN. Then go to word and paste. You can use cropping tool in Word (View Toolbar Picture) to only include part of the screen cap.

For screen cap tools I highly recommend Hyper Snap.

You could print the page to a PDF, then edit it in Photoshop

Agree with supersoaker

The fastest way is to press print screen
then go into Paint (in the accessories)
press Ctrl+V
make a new rectangle selection over what you want

press:
Ctrl+N
then No
then Ctrl+V
