Correction, 320mb version, paid just around $350, 2 months ago.
Got it from directcanada.com, hesitated at first, since I heard so-so things about them.
But it came fast, packed well (keeping this TERB related and all perverted sounding)
Also got it from them because most didn't carry EVGA here or it cost more, even without shipping costs.

I've got around 1.5GB of RAM.

I'd then bump it to the highest bios allows, anybody who has onboard want to chime in?

Nvidia released new low to mid end 8600 and 8500 cards today.

Great specs for lower budget gaming as they'll hit canadian shelves starting at $150. Performance is intended to match the 7600 GT series and up, but with the future advantage of DX10 compliance.

As for the debate on ATI vs Nvidia...
Their drivers and technology leapfrog each other so it really is a moo point as both companies need each other to prosper much like Intel and AMD need each other. Ironically, AMD and Intel share many patents together and at one time shared the same roof and executives.
