A company is developing new technologies so that the first stage in space rocket launches can be recycled for further missions.
The stage 1 rocket is designed to fly itself back to base after launch instead of being ejected like garbage when its job is done.
The rocket consists of a first stage rocket fuel tank, a Merlin rocket engine, landing legs and steel support structure.
On Monday this week a miniature helicopter drone captured the successful launch of a ten storey grasshopper rocket to a height of 744 metres and its return to launch pad.
